2. Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our website, information (server log files) transmitted by your browser is collected automatically: browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request and IP address. This data is used for technical provision and security.

3. Contact form, partner request & email

If you contact us via the contact form, the partner request or by email, we process your details to handle the request. Partner requests are also stored in the admin area of this website and deleted when no longer needed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

4. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies. We store your choice in the cookie notice in a cookie so the notice does not appear on every visit. Optional cookies are only set with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings.

5. Hosting

Our website is hosted by a provider within the EU. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Sign-up

If you sign up using the form, we store your details (name, email, phone, business, location, number of units, website, plan, message) in the admin area of this website. We use them to set up your account in the BELTURO app (belturo.app) and pass them to belturo.app for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

8. Chat assistant

Our chat assistant answers questions with the help of an AI service. Before the chat we ask for your name and email address. Name, email and the chat history are stored in the admin area of this website. Your messages are sent to Anthropic PBC (USA) to generate answers. The transfer is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses (please verify provider details). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

9. Email marketing

Only if you explicitly agree in the chat, when signing up or when requesting the whitepaper will we send you news and offers by email (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by emailing info@belturo.com or via the unsubscribe link in every email.

10. Whitepaper and double opt-in

You can request our whitepaper on the website or in the chat. For this we process your name, email address and details about your business (business, type, town, website or booking portal). This ensures the whitepaper reaches hosts. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your request).

We first send you an email to confirm your address (double opt-in). Only after you confirm do we send a personal download link that expires after a few days. We store the time of the request, the confirmation and the downloads as proof and to prevent misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Without confirmation we send no further emails.

11. Fonts

This website loads its fonts (Inter, Playfair Display) from its own server. No data is sent to external font services such as Google Fonts.

12. Live demo

Links to the live demo lead to belturo.app. The privacy policy of the guest app applies there.

13. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods.
